TCP RST Flood

TCP Reset attack, also known as “forged TCP resets, is a type of DDoS attack that belongs to the network attacks family. This attack includes exchanges of IP packets between the two sides. As known, the IP protocol is usually coupled with additional protocols such as TCP or UDP. Each protocol has a “Header” contains an information regarding the packet: information about the sending computer, the recieving and packet size, etc.

During the attack, there is a stream of packets each contains a TCP header with the RST flag set to 1.
