DDoS Glossary

Scrubbing Center

A centralized facility where malicious traffic is filtered out. Traffic can be sent to it with BGP diversion, which can be always-on or on-demand. Testing measures the “Time to Mitigate” (TTM) once traffic is diverted to the scrubber.
